CottonGuru is committed to ending child labour across our supply chains by preventing child work, protecting children’s rights, and supporting families so children can stay in school.

What we do
We combine prevention, monitoring, community engagement and support services to identify at-risk children, remove them from hazardous work, and create alternatives for their families.

Key activities

• Community awareness campaigns about child rights and the harms of child labour.
• School linkages and support (scholarships, school supplies, attendance tracking).
• Household-level engagement to address root causes (income support, skill training for caregivers, linkages to welfare schemes).
• Regular social audits and village-level monitoring to detect and respond to incidents.
• Child protection committees and grievance mechanisms run with local leaders and FPOs.
• Rehabilitation support: counselling, short-term shelter or referral to appropriate services where needed.
